Casablanca, founded in 2018 by Charaf Tajer, delivers the brilliant colours of his native nation to the rest of the world, outfitting men in stylish button-down shirts, pants and trousers that emanate the sunny palettes and aesthetics of the city where his parents met. Tajer is a talented designer who taught himself the skills required to forge his own path. He learnt from other artists, which enriches the designs seen on his eclectic assortment of jackets, knitwear, sweaters and more.
Tajer’s grandfather was a mosaic artist who once created pieces for Morocco's King, and both of his parents had occupations in fashion. Despite the Moroccan influence, Charaf Tajer was born and raised in France. The Casablanca for men collection encompasses the cultural melting pot that fuels his creativity and inspires him to develop such amazing designs. In the first two years of its existence, the brand’s range of stylish button-down shirts, pants and jackets achieved tremendous success, adding DJ Khaled and Lil Nas X to its client list and becoming a finalist of the LVMH Prize judging panel.
