Born in the small village of El Bolsón, Río Negro, Argentina in 1976, designer Marcelo Burlon has built a brand that is synonymous with luxury and opulence. Burlon moved to Italy in 1990 with his parents and in 1997 relocated to Milan. Here, he worked as a promoter for Magazzini Generali, became a DJ and began working in PR for clients he had met during his time in Milan. Marcelo Burlon debuted his first t-shirt line in 2012 and it featured a blend of the 90s club culture and the art of his native country Patagonia, Argentina.
Signature brand elements in the Marcelo Burlon, County of Milan collection include the curved wings design, created in collaboration with Burlon’s friend designer Giorgio di Salvo. This design features many of the product lines in the collection including men’s Marcelo Burlon sweatpants and hooded pullovers Since its inception, the brand has diversified its offering to include a full range of clothing and accessories including men’s Marcelo Burlon jewellery and facemasks.
